Two more down and only ... 7 more to go!

Well I'm pretty excited I finished two more HST Blocks!! :) Now I only have seven more to go and I'm really proud of the color sceme for my May month as it pulls colors and greens into the block. April brings in purples with the main pink color and it makes me think of tulips. That is another scheme I'm going to attempt one day. But I definately see an improvement on my HST.

Catching Up

So after Christmas is over and the girls' birthdays have passed I finally have a little bit of time to try to get caught up. Or at least I'm gonna try to catch up. I am several months past the HST project and although I have just finished March (yeah I know I am REALLY behind) I am already getting the squares ready for April's HST's. I'm also hopeful that I can get my ladybug quilt done for my daughter Rayne. I have also been working on my knitting and although I have a long way to go on that one, I'm determined that ONE DAY I will finish it! lol I also have a quilt I'm trying to work on that I took from a McCalls Quilting book and although I have a few of the squares and shapes cut out I'm still a long way from saying it's done. So as you can tell I'm trying to get caught up. Cross fingers and wish for the best! :)
